    Prof. Dr. Heidemarie Uhl is a senior researcher at the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna and lecturer at the University of Vienna and the University of Graz. She holds a Ph.D. in Contemporary History from the University of Graz. Selected publications include The Academies of Sciences in Central Europe during the Cold War.
